Asahi Kasei has agreed a offer with Shell Eastern Petroleum to provide butadiene derived from plastic squander and biomass.

Asahi Kasei claimed to be the world’s first organization to use butadiene derived from plastic squander, and the first Japanese organization to use butadiene derived from biomass, for S-SBR output.
