Dacia has unveiled a new badge and logo, which will look on the company’s motor vehicles from the next 50 percent of 2022.
The initial new vehicle from Dacia to carry the redesigned branding will probable be the Bigster SUV, which is established to go on sale in 2022 as the company’s initial foray into the big SUV industry.
In place of the old shield style, Dacia’s badge is now basically the term “Dacia” in a stylised blocky font. The company’s future products will also get a new logo on their radiator grilles, designed from the “D” and “C” letters in the badge.
Dacia has also altered its color scheme from silver and blue to khaki-eco-friendly, which it suggests “evokes the brand’s closeness to nature.” Supposedly, this is also a nod to the company’s rugged SUVs, such as the Duster.
Dacia suggests its new branding has been purposefully stripped back, as a reminder of its back- to-fundamental principles organization model. Denis Le Vot, Dacia’s CEO, outlined the firm’s stance, stating: “[Dacia is] the manufacturer that regularly redefines what is crucial in the automotive industry.”
