Meet GM’s new vice president of global policy

DETROIT — Typical Motors has hired Omar Vargas, who has labored for 3M Enterprise, PepsiCo and the U.S. Office of Justice, as its vice president of worldwide general public coverage.

Vargas’ job is effective Aug. one, GM said in a statement Monday.
