Mitsubishi will provide a PHEV powertrain with its current Eclipse Cross which has been verified for the US but is not likely to be launched in Europe thanks to the automaker’s modern announcement to British isles and European distributors it designs to ‘freeze’ all new design launches from this calendar year to support cut internet marketing prices.
The new Eclipse Cross is scheduled for release this fiscal calendar year ending March 2021.
The refreshed design has new front and rear models, “bringing ahead a a lot more upscale and energetic structure to enhance the smooth SUV styling”.
The automaker’s Outlander PHEV has offered 260,000 units and is claimed to be the world’s best-selling PHEV.
The Eclipse Cross will be Mitsubishi’s second PHEV.
