New Delhi: Nissan Motors India has launched its most up-to-date SUV, the Magnite, at a special price tag of INR 4.ninety nine lakh for 2020 following which it will go to its typical price tag of INR 5.forty four lakh (each ex-showroom).

The new Magnite has plenty of competitors from Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and the Mahindra XUV300 that dominate the marketplace and are growing.

Nissan has enormous anticipations from Magnite as it would be its flagship in terms of profits and turnaround. Rakesh Srivastava, controlling director, who is pinning all hopes on the new SUV, explained to ETAuto, “We are on the lookout at a good value to the Indian shopper with this world-wide solution. It will redefine the compact autos marketplace in India, specifically the SUV section, that was craving for value and freshness.”

Nissan is growing its community to offer the autos throughout India with special emphasis on metros and the Tier I & II markets. It is on the lookout at engaging buyers with the INR 4.ninety nine lakh price tag tag that stays only for December.

Analysts say that it might adjust the notion of SUVs in the marketplace as this price tag would keep the customers’ awareness in a price tag-sensitive marketplace like India and impact the long run price tag lines when all BS-VI-compliant autos have develop into far more expensive.
